Debts Highlighter is a Chrome extension that lets you highlight specific words, phrases, and small numeric values (0–249) on web pages. All processing happens locally on your device. No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted to any external server.
Website Content: visible text on the web pages you visit, only for the purpose of applying highlights that you configure.
We do not collect: personally identifiable information, financial or payment data, authentication credentials, location, browsing history, or user activity such as clicks or keystrokes.
The extension stores only your highlight groups and phrases, highlight colors, toggle (on/off) state, and a local password for the popup. This information is saved in chrome.storage.local within your browser and never leaves your device.
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties.
Because all data is processed locally and not sent over the internet, the risk of interception or misuse is minimized.
If this policy changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and publish the new version at the same URL.
